What Quick Was Facing
London enterprises managing hybrid working arrangements found that tools like Robin, Condeco, and Microsoft Places imposed booking models that did not match how their teams actually worked. Desk neighbourhoods, team zoning rules, equipment allocation logic, and visitor management requirements all had to be maintained as workarounds in the tool rather than modelled natively. Facilities teams were spending significant time each week managing exceptions that the software simply could not handle.
The Solution
What We Built
We built Quick as a bespoke office booking system where the booking logic — neighbourhood rules, team adjacency preferences, equipment assignment, visitor pre-registration, and capacity limits — was configurable per site without code changes. The mobile application allowed employees to see live floor plans, book desks with one tap, and receive wayfinding instructions for unfamiliar floors. Facilities managers gained a real-time occupancy dashboard and automated compliance reporting for building wardens.
