What MetekuAI Was Facing
MetekuAI was building AI-powered outputs for clients in financial services and legal — sectors where every AI-generated recommendation required human expert review before use. Generic workflow tools like Jira and Monday.com could not model the review chain, audit logging, or disagreement resolution processes that regulated clients required. Building on off-the-shelf task management platforms meant that compliance evidence had to be reconstructed manually from system exports, which was neither efficient nor defensible under scrutiny.
The Solution
What We Built
We built MetekuAI's human-in-the-loop review platform as a bespoke system where the review workflow — assignment, escalation, multi-reviewer consensus, and audit trail — was a core architectural component. Every AI output was logged with the model version, input context, and confidence score. Human reviewers recorded their assessment, the time taken, and any override rationale. The audit trail was structured to satisfy FCA and Solicitors Regulation Authority documentation requirements without additional processing.
